Nature out of control – how to fight the advance of invasive species?

On May 17, at 18h30, another Online Workshop Be More Sustainable in 30 Minutes will take place. This time the workshop will address the problem of the introduction of exotic species in new ecosystems.

During the presentation, the most common invasive species in Guimarães and their impact on biodiversity, economy and human health will be presented. It will also be discussed how to identify and monitor invasive species and what are the most appropriate control methods.

Bearing in mind that the most important thing is to prevent the introduction of new species, the aim of this workshop is also to warn about the problem of invasive alien species and provide tools that can help control their spread.
