URBACT – “BiodiverCity” Local Action Group meets for the second time
The second meeting of the URBACT – “BiodiverCity” Local Action Group took place on 28 March and aimed to promote discussion of the actions to be included in the 2030 Biodiversity Action Plan, a document that aims to outline guidelines for the conservation of natural and socio-cultural values in Guimarães.
The Plan is based on a strong participatory component, as well as a technical research component, which has made it possible to map the entire municipality, involving, training and participating in order to protect, conserve and monitor existing species.
In this sense, in order to strengthen the participatory component, following the URBACT methodology, the members of the Local Action Group were invited to take part in a discussion and collect contributions to complement the strategies already identified.
