Guimarães mais Floresta is thus intended to remain a transversal and integrated project, so its execution achieves a large number of objectives, starting with the goal of doubling the number of native trees to be planted in the municipality, from 15,000 to 30,000 trees, distributed across different areas.

Guimarães mais Floresta is a project that aims to raise awareness of the issue of native forest and the importance of its preservation, including a focus on thematic areas such as nature, biodiversity, green spaces, air quality, noise, climate change, landscape and agro-forestry techniques, as well as areas of civil rights of protection and creation of a more diverse, healthy and harmonious natural environment.

 

How to participate

Acquire the desired number of trees through the Guimarães Mais Floresta website. Suggest a place for the plantation, which must be technically and scientifically approved. Set date and time for the planting activity
