Laboratório da Paisagem took part in the annual BluePoint consortium meeting in Olatu, France

International meeting brought together project partners to strengthen cooperation and present innovative solutions to tackle plastic pollution.

The Laboratório da Paisagem took part yesterday in the annual meeting of the BluePoint consortium, held in Olatu, France. The event was attended by Carolina Rodrigues, Coordinator of Biodiversity, Soil, Water Resources and Circular Economy, and researcher Andreia Ribeiro, representing Laboratório da Paisagem.

The meeting was an important moment of sharing and collaboration among project partners, united by a common goal: developing innovative solutions to combat plastic pollution and promote the sustainability of aquatic ecosystems.

Throughout the day, participants visited the CETIA technological centre, where new approaches to sustainability were explored, and learned more about the pilot developed by ESTIA, an example of innovation applied to water resource protection.

The delegation also visited the Decathlon Watersports Lab, a space that demonstrates how innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand, inspiring more responsible practices in sports and industry.

In the afternoon, the Blue Day event took place — a joint initiative with the European project ADT4Blue, which brought together blue economy entrepreneurs to present ideas and solutions that contribute to a more sustainable future.

As a partner of the BluePoint project (Interreg Atlantic Area), the Laboratório da Paisagem reinforces its commitment to research, innovation, and international cooperation.
