Since March, the Laboratório da Paisagem has been an associate member of the Portuguese Council for Health and Environment (CPSA), reinforcing its commitment to promoting sustainable, healthy, and resilient development.
This integration represents important recognition of the work carried out by the Laboratório da Paisagem, an entity dedicated to enhancing ecosystems, promoting biodiversity, advancing environmental education, supporting health and well-being, and engaging civil society in more sustainable practices.
The Portuguese Council for Health and Environment is a leading national organization that brings together various public and private entities, united by the goal of promoting policies and practices that integrate human health and environmental protection. Advocating for an intersectoral approach grounded in scientific knowledge, the CPSA seeks to foster collaboration and dialogue across different sectors of society, recognizing the close relationship between environmental conditions and public health.
The Laboratório da Paisagem’s membership in the CPSA strengthens strategic synergies, enabling the sharing of best practices, the development of collaborative projects, and active participation in shaping public policies that ensure the well-being of current and future generations.
This marks another step in the affirmation of the Laboratório da Paisagem as an active agent in the ecological transition and in the promotion of sustainable and healthy territories.
