Guimarães hosts workshop “Good Practices for the Energy Transition in Portuguese Municipalities”

The Laboratório da Paisagem will host, on November 11th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the workshop “Good Practices for the Energy Transition in Portuguese Municipalities.”

This initiative is promoted by the Laboratório da Paisagem in partnership with ZERO – Sustainable Earth System Association and the European Climate Pact.

Talking about energy transition means talking about a more sustainable future. Developing sustainable and people-centered policies is therefore essential.
This workshop was specially designed for local authorities (municipal technicians, councilors, and members of Municipal Assemblies) and aims to present real solutions through inspiring examples already being implemented in Portugal and other European countries.

Throughout the session, good practices that have shown concrete benefits for both citizens and municipalities will be shared. The event will also feature European Climate Pact Ambassadors, who will present innovative strategies for more effective climate action in the fields of energy, mobility, food systems, and green spaces.

Participants will receive a manual compiling these good practices as well as a certificate of participation.
