On 5 and 6 March, Laboratório da Paisagem attended the 6th Transnational Meeting of the Let’s Go Circular! project, held in Tirana, Albania.
The meeting centred on the need to develop circular solutions for packaging and the importance of effective waste management systems, promoting the exchange of good practices between the project partners.
Representing Guimarães in this initiative were technician Mafalda Vieira, from the Landscape Laboratory, and Marisa Lima, Communications Coordinator at Resinorte, reinforcing the joint commitment to the circular economy and sustainability.
The Let’s Go Circular project continues to drive international co-operation and the implementation of innovative solutions for a more sustainable future. It is a two-year European project labelled URBACT and is led by Munich (Germany), with Guimarães, Lisbon, Malmö (Sweden), Cluj (Romania), Corfu (Greece), Granada (Spain), Riga (Latvia), Oulu (Finland) and Tirana (Albania) also taking part. URBACT is a programme for learning and exchanging experiences in promoting sustainable urban development.
