European Green Capital 2026: Citizens Invited to Submit Participation Proposals
As part of the European Green Capital 2026 initiative, the Municipality of Guimarães and the Laboratório da Paisagem have launched a public participation form, open to all citizens, institutions, associations, and local communities wishing to contribute with projects, actions, or events.
This initiative is part of the Community Commission of the European Green Capital 2026, which aims to ensure broad and representative engagement in the creation of a truly participatory, decentralised programme with a positive impact on the territory.
Proposals can be submitted until 28 June and the process is simple, quick, and accessible to everyone. Just fill out the online form, indicating the name of the project, preferred location and date, target audience, and other relevant information.
