Green Week 2025 – Open Call: Eco Market

From June 6 to 8, in Alameda S. Dâmaso, another edition of Green Week Guimarães will take place.

We aim to develop a bold and distinctive event, with strong community engagement around environmental sustainability. The programme will include a wide range of activities such as educational workshops, talks, concerts, performances, eco-markets, and many other initiatives.

To broaden participation, the Laboratório da Paisagem and the Municipality of Guimarães invite interested participants in the fields of organic products and handicrafts to join the event.

Those interested should apply by May 18, sending a brief description of their product concept and photos from participation in other events to: geral@labpaisagem.pt.

Participation does not require any licensing fees.

Handicraft Market Requirements:
Original and entrepreneurial products;
Products of sustainable origin;
Well-decorated market stalls;

Full presence is mandatory for all 3 days during the following times:
Friday: 15:00–00:00
Saturday: 10:30–01:00
Sunday: 10:30–19:00

Organic (Fresh Products) Market Requirements:
Fresh products from sustainable and/or organic production;
Well-decorated market stalls;
Full presence is mandatory for all 3 days during the same time slots as above.

We provide:
Market stall;
Electricity;
Shared access to a water point.

We do not provide:
Refrigeration systems: freezers, fridges, etc.;
Heating systems: ovens, microwaves, etc.

Selection Criteria for Organic Products and Handicrafts:
Applications will be evaluated and selected in the order received;
Candidates who do not meet the requirements (product description and photos of products and stall in previous events) will be immediately excluded;
Priority will be given to local producers/artisans;
We will select distinct and diverse product concepts.
