The partners of the European CircularPSP project, which brings together eight cities to jointly accelerate the digital transition to a circular economy and is supported by five partners, met over the last two days in Helsinki, Finland.
The meeting provided productive meetings with suppliers and internal discussions on the project’s progress and next steps.
On the first day, bilateral sessions allowed for a detailed analysis of each supplier’s contributions, culminating in an internal meeting to align and review interactions. The following day, dedicated to the internal team, the next steps were discussed in relation to the testing of the platform prototype, which will begin in February with a small number of users in the municipal departments linked to Public Procurement, Sustainability and Innovation. Of the three solutions that will be tested, only two will move on to the third and final phase of the project. The funding for the development of phase 2 of the pre-commercial contract is 2 million 256 thousand euros.
