Vimaranenses found 15 different species of mushrooms in Tabuadelo
More than two dozen people took part in the mycological walk “Discovering mushrooms” last Saturday, 16 December, at Quinta de São Cipriano, in the parish of Tabuadelo.
As part of the Guimarães Biodiversity Action Plan, organised by the Landscape Laboratory and with the support of António Queirós, from the “A Pantorra” Association, the participants were able to identify 15 different species of fungi, with various shapes, colours and properties. Beforehand, their characteristics and ecological importance were discussed.
