The first of three workshops under the Climate Pact took place this Thursday at the Landscape Lab.
The Landscape Lab celebrates its 9th anniversary this Saturday, 24 June. Opened in 2014, the institution is focused on promoting the sustainable development of the territory, innovation, research and scientific dissemination, raising awareness among the population, and providing environmental services and consultancy.
The partners of the network CApt2 – Circularity of Water: By All and For All, part of the National Circular Cities Initiative (InC2), met in Guimarães on 22 and 23 May at a meeting that ended with a conference on the challenges of circularity of water.
Next Saturday, June 17, the fourth training action of the Guimarães Biodiversity Action Plan will take place, this time focused on bats. The activity will take place in the parish of Souto Santa Maria (coordinates: 41.509017, -8.288858) between 6 and 11pm, and will be taught by Luís Braz, from UTAD – Universidade de Trás-os-Montes-e-Alto-Douro.

More than a dozen people participated in the training session on mammals, under the Guimarães Biodiversity Action Plan, which took place last Saturday in Paço de São Cipriano, in Tabuadelo.
The Fernando Távora School Grouping was the big winner of the 8th edition of the Eco Parliament, an anchor activity of the environmental education program of the Municipality of Guimarães, PEGADAS, coordinated by the Laboratory of Landscape.
The first meeting of the CircularPSP consortium was held in Bonn, Germany. This consortium represents European leaders in the transition to a circular economy and circular green public procurement, and was attended by Guimarães City Council and Laboratório da Paisagem.

Started today at the Laboratório da Paisagem the annual meeting of the Zero Waste Europe (ZWE) network, a pan-European organization that brings together organizations from all over Europe, working in the area of waste (zero waste, prevention, reduction and reuse policies, training and awareness actions). The meeting will last until next Friday.
